Our Curriculum

Despite the wide misconception that music is a “gift”, we firmly believe in the idea that anyone can learn to play music

(yes, that includes singing!)

Just like any other skill, music requires time and practice, but when presented with the right tools and instruction, you’ll be reaching your goals in no time. Whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced, we will lay out a routine for each of our students that will guarantee success if followed.

We have spent the past few years developing a curriculum that makes music accessible and exciting.

Our methods are catered toward building a solid musical foundation that can be used across the entire field, whether you’re playing, singing, writing, or producing. We are flexible with these methods and will adjust our approach based on students’ interests and styles of learning.

Your lessons will, first and foremost, show you just how fun and expressive music can be!

We will teach you how to play what you hear, read what you play, improvise and do it all with passion.

In addition, we can teach you:

  • The ins-and-outs of playing with a band

  • How to begin songwriting and further develop the craft

  • How to set up and run a basic home studio that you can use to practice and record at your leisure

  • How develop your resumé and portfolio as an artist and apply for gigs

  • How to listen (and we mean really listen)
